Spring is in the air (summer is knocking on
our doors down here in the south) and tax season is finally
over. I'm sure all of you are ready to get your agency
operating at maximum efficiency.
If you aren't already downloading, We challenge you to
start! It's easier than ever. More details below...
The new Support Center call handling system
is working great. Problem resolution is quicker because
it allows the technicians to tackle problems faster and
solutions can be researched before phone calls are returned.
We're excited because it has also created more time for the
programmers to dedicate to application
enhancements.
Don't forget, you can request assistance
from the support team by logging on to
www.agencyadvantage.net/contact and entering a description
of your problem. You will receive a phone call or email
to assist you with your resolving your problem just as if you had called the 800 number.
Don't forget, if you have a question or
topic you would like explained, a story to share, or just a
quick useful tip, we'd love to hear from you. Please send your
responses to tina@agencyadvantage.com.

Download synchronizes the policy information
that resides on the carrier system with the agency by updating
The Agency Advantage via an electronic transmission of an
ACORD standard download file.
Download is available for most major
personal lines. It is not just for new business—it also
updates the The Agency Advantage with all changes made to a
policy through renewal, endorsements, cancellations,
reinstatements, and more.
Time is saved by reducing or eliminating data input. All
customer information is completely up to date. The
result is a much more efficient and profitable agency, able to
quickly respond to customer needs and inquiries.
The accuracy of the
information in The Agency Advantage is also improved because
it comes straight from the company and is available for you to
review before posting.
So, now that you know more about download,
why not get started?
Check out the website for a list
of supported companies. This list is updated regularly. If a
company you do business with isn't on the list, then fill out a
suggestion form and send us the information.
To get started you will need to contact ONE of these
companies and request an Ivans Y account and User
ID.
Once you get that information, CALL
US! We have to set up your information before you can
start downloading. This normally takes 2-3 business days.
You will also need to pick ONE computer in
your agency to be the download computer.
Download
and install the Download Manager and
Ivans Transfer
Manager
on this computer. Install the Download Manager first because the
Ivans Transfer Manager will require you to restart your
computer.
That's it! That's all You have to do. Once
we have your information set up, we will
contact you, connect to your computer, and set up your mailbox
and confirm it's connecting correctly.
After that, you just need to contact the
other companies in your agency that download and notify them
you'll be downloading. You will need to give them your Ivans Y account and User ID you originally
received and all company files will be sent to a central
mailbox for downloading.
More information can be
found here.
Additional Text on a
Receipt
Many agents asked for an area on
receipts to print a disclaimer message regarding payments or
an advertising message. This is available and will hold up to two lines of text.
To set up up the message, from the Main Menu, go to System Setup, then
Agency Information. Type your message in the field about mid-page that says
Receipt Disclaimer. Enter any text you'd like to show
on your receipts in this space. You may have to contact your
WinAA administrator to get permission to access the Agency
Information screen. |
