The User's Conference is fast approaching.  Many of you have asked for an opportunity to be sure you are getting the most from your Agency Advantage software.  This is it. The 2006 User's Conference is going to be a great learning opportunity for all our customers and their employees. Be sure to read more about the conference content below.

In this issue of our newsletter we will be taking a closer look at the Attachments Tab in The Agency Advantage, saving lots of time and adding to your electronic filing capabilites.

 Attachments

The attachments tab is a relatively recent, but very handy addition to The Agency Advantage. It's purpose is to let you attach important information to your customer's folder without the need to print and scan it.


 

You can attach any type of file that your computer can open.  The most common types of attachments are emails, Adobe pdf files, Word documents and Excel spreadsheets.

It is easy to attach a file using one of two methods.  The first method, is to simply drag the file from your desktop and drop it in the inbox on the right side of the Attachments screen (visible after you click the Attachments Tab). A small box opens with most information pre-filled, waiting for you to select the related policy and type a description. Click the "Exit" icon and the file is attached, ready to be opened and viewed anytime.

The second way to attach files is by clicking the "Add" icon on the Attachments Tab. A window will open allowing you to browse the files on your computer, selecting a file will attach it to your Customer's Folder. As with the previous method, you will have the opportunity to choose the related policy and give the file a brief description.
