Updates! Most software companies routinely update their
software to keep up with changing technology and customer needs. We're no
different. In this issue we discuss several items that have been
updated in our program and as well as updates Microsoft released
for their operating systems.
If you have a question or topic you would like
explained, a story to share, or just a quick useful tip, we'd love to
hear from you. Please send your responses to tina@agencyadvantage.com.

New
Features
We are constantly working to improve The Agency
Advantage and increase the efficiency in your office. Your suggestions
are always reviewed and many are implemented. Here are some of the latest
updates:
·
The
Restricted Access User (RAU) feature has been updated to include a
report, found under User Setup, that lists the customers for that
particular RAU.

·
The GARAG (Garage & Dealers) policy
class now supports vehicles and drivers. Previously a GARAG policy class
was formatted like the basic Miscellaneous class. Now, you can add
vehicle and driver detail the same as you can for AUTOB (Business Auto).
·
Support for Automobile Certificate of
Insurance ACORD 23 has been added. The Automobile Certificate of
Insurance functions just as the other certificates, allowing you to
'Print All Certificates' from the Adobe toolbar. You can download this
form, and others, from our website.
·
Previously, expiration letters and labels
printed in different orders. This made matching labels to their letters more
difficult than necessary. We've formatted these two items, located under
Expiration Reports, to print the information in alphabetical order. This
should significantly reduce the time spent on sending Expiration Letters!
Service
Pack Releases for Vista and XP
Microsoft has released Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista.
This service pack includes several performance related enhancements
including correcting issues where Windows hangs on start up, and speed
issues within Internet Explorer 7. The performance issues addressed in
Service Pack 1 may or may not be affecting the performance of The Agency
Advantage. If you are having speed issues and using a Vista PC then we recommend
installing this service pack.

Microsoft has also released Service Pack 3 for Windows
XP. Per information available on Microsoft's website, there aren't any
significant modifications that will change the user experience. However,
it is always a good idea to stay up-to-date with your Windows Updates.
