From
the Editor
At The Agency Advantage we are working hard to keep up
with the ever changing software industry. The new Adobe Reader 9
caused a few problems, but the latest version of AA should keep your
system up and running without a problem.
If you have a question or topic you would like
explained, a story to share, or just a quick useful tip, we'd love to
hear from you. Please send your responses to tina@agencyadvantage.com.

Agencies with Agency Advantage 3.030 and prior may
experience problems with Adobe's latest version, Reader 9.0. We have
finished testing with this product and have released Agency Advantage version
3.031 that will support the latest Adobe Reader. Agency Advantage will
continue to work with Reader 8.
Get the latest update by going to Utilities - Internet
Update and selecting Check for Internet Updates.
Unknown
Companies in the Download Manager
At times agents who are downloading from companies may
run across an UNKNOWN COMPANY.

An unknown company means that we don't have the proper
NAIC information for that particular code. Sometimes a carrier adds a company
and NAIC code to their download without notifying us. We have no way of
knowing what company this NAIC belongs to so UNKNOWN COMPANY shows up in
the list.
If you get an unknown company error you may try
clicking the Door icon at the bottom of the screen. It will take you to
the next page where you can see the customers from the company. Assuming
you know what company you wrote these customers with, the next step would
be to call the company and find out which insurance company or
division is associated with the NAIC code.
The company can either email us their new information
at support@agencyadvantage.com
or you can give us a call at 800-442-5447
with the information.
